Welding Works and Metal Structures for a House

Updated:

Metal structures in a private house go well beyond gates and fences. Staircases, canopies, terrace frames, balcony railings, and opening reinforcement are often built from welded steel, which gives strength and geometry that timber or concrete cannot match at the same dimensions.

Where welding is needed most often

  • Gates and wickets: swing or sliding, with or without automation.
  • Fences and site perimeter railing on a steel frame.
  • Carports and utility structure canopies.
  • Steel staircases and railings for balconies, terraces, and stairwells.
  • Opening reinforcement during layout changes: beams and lintels under load-bearing walls.

What to check when ordering

Weld quality determines how long the structure lasts: an incomplete weld rusts and cracks in frost faster than it looks like it should. What matters is steel thickness matched to the real load, corrosion protection with primer and enamel after welding, and, for load-bearing structures, a proper load calculation rather than a guess.

We handle welding works (from gates and canopies to structural reinforcement during layout changes) using our own steel or your drawings, standalone or inside the package of construction works from plot to keys. Where steel appears in the build cycle is covered in Stages of house construction. Describe the task and we will estimate materials and installation.
