Non-woven wallpaper is 12–18 ₾/m², vinyl 14–22 ₾/m². Laminate with underlay is 12–20 ₾/m², linoleum 8–14 ₾/m², PVC skirting 10–16 ₾/m. A whole flat costs 2200–3800 ₾ for a 1-bed 35 m², 3500–6000 ₾ for a 2-bed 55 m² and 5000–8500 ₾ for a 3-bed 75 m², materials not included. Advance no more than 15%, one-year warranty.

Cosmetic renovation is updating an apartment without opening the screed, replacing wiring and plumbing. The task is to bring a fresh look in minimum time and budget: repaint walls, change wallpaper, refresh the ceiling, replace flooring and skirting. We do this where engineering and walls are fine, but the finish is tired.
What stages does cosmetic renovation consist of?

Material control
We use Tikkurila, Caparol, Dulux paints and wallpapers from 120 g/m², because cheap materials lay badly.
Tight timing
1-bed: 7–10 days; 2-bed: 12–18 days; 3-bed: 18–25 days. Locked by contract.

Old wallpaper in layers
In old fund often 3–4 layers. We remove all to plaster, otherwise the new wallpaper falls off.
Hidden cracks
After wallpaper removal cracks appear that were masked. We locally reinforce with mesh tape and putty.
Tbilisi humidity
Spring humidity 75–85%. In bathrooms and kitchens we use biocidal paints (Tikkurila Luja).
Old skirting
Wooden skirting in Soviet apartments is often rotten. We replace with plastic or MDF.
Curved walls
Cosmetic does not flatten walls. If offset >1 cm per 2 m we suggest GKL or plaster leveling.
